Ellis, our adorable granddaughter, had her first birthday on September 23.  Lisa took a flight from Bangor, Maine to Nashville to be there for her birthday party.  Mark stayed in Maine with Karma and Ethel.  As you can see in the pictures, Lisa was smitten and had a marvelous trip. It was a short trip, but the memories are priceless. Ellis' Nanna hosted the party at her beautiful house.  Any party given by her Nanna and her mommy are sure to be fabulous. 

Lisa, Lolli, is in heaven with her princess in case you could not tell.

Ellis is one loved little girl with her Mommy and Daddy (Courtney and Ryan). 

Ellis gets some love from her Aunt Meggie and Uncle Adrian. Megan had a special aunt when she was little, so she knows how important an aunt can be for a little girl. She learned all about being an awesome aunt from her Aunt Teresa.

Ellis loves her birthday cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy bought her a special healthy cake from a health food bakery. (Her mommy gets her the best things made from the best ingredients. Her poor daddy had a birthday cake from Krogers! Lolli did not know about healthy cakes back then. Lolli still thinks real cakes with real frosting made with real sugar and all the yummy stuff taste the best.)

Ellis is back at home after her party at her Nanna's. She is trying out her new walking toy from her Aunt Teresa.

Ellis is being loved on by Lolli before her nap.  Lolli is in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The princess needs a nap but Lolli isn't ready to give her up just yet.

I wonder what she is plotting???? Whatever she was planning involved Lolli's shoes. She had already moved them from one end of the couch to the other end. I would love to know what she is thinking.

Ellis is reaching for Lolli and Lolli is smitten. This one moment alone was worth the price of the flight here.

This face is priceless!! She loves the pumpkin patch.  This is her third trip to the pumpkin patch to get more pumpkins.

The punkin is hanging out with pumpkins. She was telling Lolli all about the pumpkins. Her mommy has their house all decorated for the fall. Her mommy does an amazing job making their house a home.

Well, Lolli has to fly back to Maine. Megan had travelled in early to take me from and to the airport both ways. We stayed in a local hotel and spent 3 days together- so it was just a good trip all around. It was interesting for us to travel around the area where we had lived most of our lives to see all the changes that had been made since we left. I got to spend quality time with the 5 of them, so I left Nashville one very content and happy Lolli.
